$1300 in Feb + Glype Youtube plugin
Just a quick post. Its been a busy month and a half since the end of Jan. I didn’t work on proxy promotion at all in Feb aside from my newsletters and my myspace page and I made $1300. I was pleased considering my lack of work. I am taking a self pace class in online business and life is just busy, so wasn’t working on them much.
Currently I am redoing all of my proxies with Glype instead of Phpproxy. I am making a few small changes, which I will post about after I work them out. Also I will post my monetization strategy, which includes completely eliminating Google Adsense for Content ads.
Also the excellent folks over at Glype.com forums have built a YouTube plugin for free available. Its in a few pieces on the forum , instructions and all. I have it up and running on my Glype test site and it works great! I am going to package it all up, give appropriate credit, include instructions and then post it up here free to download in a upcoming future post. Hopefully later this week, maybe next. Between class, changing over my proxies to Glype, getting things all customized the way I like them, centralizing my ads in one place, re-monetizing my proxies yet again - lost count of how many times I have done this, working on the platinum proxy guide V2.0, my wife and 7 month old, and my life in general its keeping me busy.

Not using AdSense at all!?!? Been banned or something?
Good choice moving over to glype! It is way better than PHProxy, and most other scripts.
I wouldn’t bother posting the YouTube plugin though, it needs to be fixed all the time.

Going for the same front page strategy as me? I don’t have any ads there actually, unlike everyone else
You know that you are allowed to use the same canepmedia ad code for other domains btw? (As long as the content is similar, which it is for proxies). Makes it much easier as you don’t have to wait for approval nor change the ad URL. (No good if you want to track ad impressions for each site though)
I’ve also noticed how wonderful the passthrough function really is at adecn when you start the chaining
My old dedi was too slow (and old) so didn’t manage to squeeze much out of it, had to resist promoting to avoid load ~100 on peak times
So I only ended up with $95. I’ve ordered a new one and got it in a day and it almost yawns when taking the same amount of traffic.
Hoping to reach $200 this month and $300+ next month.
